Two Robots Walk into a Podcast Booth : An AI Discussion of Kill Night

Wanna listen to two AI’s talk about my novel, KILL NIGHT : A TWISTED VIGILANTE TALE? I certainly did. Pretty impressive. They made up a few plot details of their own, but for the most part it’s accurate. Who needs podcasters to create buzz about your new novel when you can create podcasters? If they only they had followers…

Myself aside, it’s shocking how quickly AI is improving at faking humans. I “made” the podcast below in minutes with a copy of my manuscript and Google’s new Notebook tool.

Proceed with caution, herein be SPOILERS and some made up plot moments. Recoil at the sound of AI expressing itself as though it were a modern ape-man. Then go buy a copy of my book!

***As a special bonus for those with no lives, below is a version of this post re-written by AI.

Two Robots Walk into a Podcast Booth: An AI Breakdown of Kill Night

Ever wondered what two AIs think about my novel, KILL NIGHT: A TWISTED VIGILANTE TALE? No? Well, I did it anyway—and it’s surprisingly good. Sure, they took some creative liberties with the plot, but most of it tracks. Honestly, who needs human podcasters when you can conjure digital ones on demand? Now, if only these bots had an audience…

Jokes aside, it’s wild how fast AI is closing the gap on sounding human. I whipped up the podcast below in minutes using a manuscript excerpt and Google’s shiny new Notebook tool. Spoilers lurk ahead—along with a few scenes the bots completely invented (maybe that’s a hint for Book 2?).

So, brace yourself for the uncanny valley. Listen as these soulless algorithms riff on my story like chatty cavemen. Then, if you like what you hear—or just need to make sense of what the AIs are on about—go grab a copy of KILL NIGHT!

****Pssst, it’s the real me again. I promise the book was written without any AI. Really, I swear.
